In a recent article, The Washington Post has cited P1 Security’s research on SS7 and GRX, explaining the problems and risks to operators and subscribers linked to interests from various parties including Intelligence Agencies and the global Intelligence Community (IC). This article has been also quoted by TCERT.

The recent uptake in publicity on the security (and sadly, insecurity) of telecom and mobile networks is actually a good thing for security of such OT (Operational Technology) networks. It pushes not only MNOs (Mobile Network Operators) but also National Telecom Regulators, Vendors and Governments to investigate the real state of their security. This will help maturity building in the long term.
